Paranoid – Ghost’s years spent roaming Delvehaven, as well as his time spent stoned have left him plenty of time to brood on the betrayal that led him to his current predicament. This has left him with an inherent distrust of anyone he meets. As the saying goes, actions speak louder than words, and potential allies need to prove that they can be trusted. He receives a -3 penalty to his Sense Motive checks unless he invested a level up attribute bonus into Wisdom.

The elf who currently considers himself a ghost is a broken man. During a battle a century ago, he found himself on the losing side, which left him a lifeless statue. The trials and battles he underwent before becoming petrified had left his body ravaged beyond hope, and he is no longer as healthy as he once was. All of his friends are dead. As for his family, he wouldn’t know where to begin looking, even if he had the ability to move. Despite his state, he is fully aware and can see and hear what is occurring around him. He has watched Westcrown fall from its previous glory to the decrepit state is is currently in, and he has been unable to do anything to stop it. It makes him angry.
He is what elves and humans refer to has Forlorn. An elf lost or abandoned in human lands, left to fend for himself throughout a childhood decades longer than his peers. While still a child, with childish sensibilities, he watched several of his closest friends grow from young street urchins, into respectable businessmen, feared criminals, prostitutes, drug addicts; and then die from various nefarious and natural means. Although this didn’t break the young elf, it did affect him greatly.
One day, he met another strange elf, who happened to be Forlorn as well. She took pity on the young elf, and brought him with her to train as an understudy wizard to her. He took to his training well, learning much faster than most elves who take to learning at a much more leisurely pace. Sixty years of scrounging on the streets as an urchin will do that to an elf sometimes. It turned out that his benefactor was also a member of the Pathfinder Society. When his wizard training was complete, he then entered the Pathfinders as an initiate where there too he excelled. It wasn’t long before he was confirmed a full member. Years later, he worked his way up the ranks to be a full fledged Venture-Captain. That is when all his troubles really began.
